Just thought I would let you know I received my Form 5 today! I made my last payment on 1st September. There are still 2 creditors to respond to PPI then I will be discharged from my trustee.
From reading posts on this site I heard mixed reviews about KPMG and was worried that I may have problems getting discharged but I have to say the whole process have been very smooth for me.
During my 3 years I managed to rent out my flat so I could move to another city to live with my then boyfriend(now husband) and start a new job. I was very fortunate in that I didn't have to increase my payments even when I had a small wage rise and moving. We also managed to save to get married this year!
We are now looking forward to carrying on saving before we sell our properties and hopefully buy a house. My husband had also been in a DMP so some big lessons have been learned. It's such a great feeling to be free and pay for things as you go.
I am so glad I found this website for advice and reassurance and will now be following the tips to clean up my credit file.
