I was discharged from my trust deed in May and most of my creditors have updated my credit file. I still have 3 showing as default every month. I contacted one of the creditors and asked them to update there records but they didnt know what a trust deed was. I explained the situation and they wanted me to contact my trustee to send them a statement with all my contributions. Do they really need this? I'm really confused as to what they have to do and what I need to send them to update my details. I would be really great fun if someone on the forum could point me in the right direction.

Hi DRedd.

It sounds as though you've spoken with someone totally clueless in this area.

As you've tried to sort it out without success I'd make a formal complaint to them.

Set out what's happened and what you want to happen now. This should result in a better trained person considering the situation and making an appropriate decision.

It's really frustrating. I will phone them again and see what they say. Thanks for your help.
