Hi, Ive posted a few items before, however still confused with one or two things.
1. I was discharged on December 2014 after a successful completion of the Trust Deed, i assume any records of bad debt will still show on file for 6 years from this date, or is it 6 years from the initial date of signing the Trust deed in October 2011? If its only from the signing of the Trust Deed, why are the debtors dates still showing on Credit Agencies as still showing a satisfied date of Dec 2014. Surely they will remain on file till 2020 or am i reading the dates of the figures wrongly.
2. For a mortgage, I will have a VTL of about 65% - 70% next year. What is the possibility of comfortably swapping Mortgage lenders with a small home loan against this VTL percentage, considering it will be more than 6 years of starting the Trust deed? Im starting to raise my Credit rating and have had one or two sensible credit cards for Credit building purposes only.
I don't want to speak to a re mortgage advisor with bad ratings on the file and trying to work out when the date the bad debt falls off my file.
Many thanks
One other thing, the AIB website has my 'Debtor discharge' date of 11th Dec 2014, however the 'Trustee Discharge' date is still undated. I assume this is still active even though i received my form 5 last year? I contacted my agency who is dealing with my TD and sadly still waiting on a reply after a few months on this question.
Hi Rickie
I went through the he same thing. All debts should fall off your credit record six years after the signing date of the trust deed. A few of the credit agencies had defaults on my account that should have fallen off my record but they hadn't updated their records and the defaults were still on my file. I had to write to them sending them proof of my trust deed and when I was discharged and they backdated the records to the first day I signed the trust deed. Also im now looking to remortgage and I have an agreement in principle from a high street bank. I used a broker that I found on this site and I have did lots of investigations into who best to use and the guy I got on here is first class.
My wife and I both had trust deeds and completed them at the same time. The trustee took a year longer to discharge himself from my wife's TD than mines that was a complete pain. I would chase them up big time as I exited a trust deed only a few months before you and my name and my wife's has completely fallped off the AIB website.
Gordy, Did you get a good deal? ie, as someone with a decent Credit Rating would get without any questions? Did you disclose your TD to the advisor?
I got a great deal. I disclosed everything. I've still to complete yet though but my broker is keeping me correct.
Both my wife and I had to join all credit agencies to make sure everything had fallped off and I had quite a job getting them all to update there records. You have to get equifax,Experian and noddle credit reports and make sure most things have fallped off. It would probably be easier to speak to you if you want to give me a call but I'm not sure if I can pm on this site?
Advanced Payment Solutions & Aqua both have status histories on my credit agencies as 'still active' until mid 2016, even though they were both lettered to change the date in accordance with my signing date, but even though i have sent copies of the TD etc, its fell on deaf ears. There are some companies who just make life so much more difficult for no reason apart from being twisted!
I still have a few small defaults on my accounts for a phone and a gas bill that I got just after I entered my trust deed but as long as it's not major deafaults some banks will still deal with you
Im with Noddle (Callcredit), Clearscore (Equifax) and CreditMatcher (Experian) who are all free to use and keep up to date monthly with my credit ratings. Im not setting the heather on fire just yeat, but im going in the right direction. Has your credit rating shot up since being discharged after the 6 years with all past history removed?
I was poor and very poor for about a year and a half after. But in the last few months I've no hit good with equifax
One of the big things that my broker wanted was my name completely of the AIB register and that won't fall off your u til a year after your trustee discharges himself so that probably the biggest thing for you.
Thats interesting... Wonder why they take so long to remove themselves from the Trustee Discharge when everything else is done and dusted. Ive just emailed them again asking why its taking so long to do so.
Who were you with? I entered my trust deed on October 2010 so it's not long before you. I was with kpmg

Never heard of them. Knightsbridge or some other company named like that always seem to crop up on a bad review so I wondered if it was than
