I contacted my TD company to check when my TD would finish. I was told it was January this year. I made the last payment, then received a call from the company asking why I had not paid February.I explained I had been told that my last payment would be January. She said that was fine and they would sort it out. Now I just received a letter asking me to fill in my income details, just like a regular review.
Is that normal, considering my last payment was at the very beginning of January? I actually though the letter was my discharge!

Hi Melissa,

Well done on reaching this point and successfully completing your Trust Deed.

It's probably just an automatic letter send out in error. I wouldn't worry about it.

Best thing to do is contact your Trustee, ask them about the letter but more importantly your discharge certificate and when you can expect to receive that.

We aim to discharge someone from their Trust Deed 4-6 weeks after their final payment.

let us know how you get on.
