Hi

I was discharged from my trust deed in July, I have recently check my credit report and under defaulted accounts it shows 10. Most of them say “in good standing” when I look further into them, with only a couple still saying account in default (which I know I’ll need to contact them) but should they still be in the defaulted accounts page or in the settled page?

Thanks in advance

Hi SD1991,

Sections (06) and (07) in the following article should help to explain more about default notices once you've been discharged from a protected trust deed:

https://www.trust-deed.co.uk/repair-your-credit-rating.html

In short, your creditors should mark any default notices as being "satisfied" or "partailly satisfied" once you get discharged.

We know that some creditors aren't always very good at getting this done on their own, so some people choose to chase them to make these updates after they've been discharged.
