Hi
I just looked up a great topic there about cleaning up the defaults on your credit record.
As stated yesterday im having trouble with welcome however...
I just checked my record there and some have set default date to the date i signed trust dead. Great news
However welcome havent even set a default date and have me down as having missed payments even this month and have it marked as arrears.
Please help...

Hi julie1988.
You'll want to contact Welcome and insist that they bring your credit file up to date in line with the fact that you no longer owe them any money.
Don't worry about the lack of a default notice, that's probably a good thing.
You should then give them a resonable amount of time to ensure that this update is taken care of.
If a "resonable period of time" elapses without that happening I'd suggesting complaining to them using their complaints process. This usually does the trick.
If it doesn't, a last resort might be the Information Commissioner who expects creditors/lenders to ensure data like that on credit reports is accurate. You need to give the firm a chance to fix it first though.
Thanks very much. I was just concerned at how 3 months after my trustsdeed thy can still be putting defaults on it. The last late payment marked was on feb this year. There for anyone looking at it would view it as I just haven't made any attempt to set up an agreement at all.
Life seems to have gotten a whole lot more complicated since completing my trust deed.
