Hi,

Not that i am but, after the 6 years and the td has dropped off the cedit file, if asked do you have to declare having been bankrupt if it was a TD?

Cheers!

Hi Rainking79.

If you're asked whether you've been bankrupt you can honestly answer "no" at any point if it was in fact a trust deed that you chose.

If you're asked whether you've ever been "insolvent" or in a trust deed then the answer should be "yes".

It's a question that arose here some time ago and there was a divergence in opinions between members who felt that they would answer the question as I have described and those that felt, many years after their trust deed had finished for example, that they might select a different response.
