Hi nnrao.

On your previous specific question, it would not matter if you later moved away from Scotland. DAS or trust deeds could continue.

There are lots of reliable organisations to seek advice from nnrao.

Just remember that a "short break" is very different to starting a formal debt solution such as trust deeds or DAS.

Thanks, I now have some clarity after this long discussion. Thanks to all of you.
First option is I'm going to contact all my creditors directly, if they refuse then I will contact my CAB if all fails back to PayPlan or CCCS for DMP first, DAS next and finally if nothing works then go to TrustDeed.

Also to get a conditional DMP what documents should I produce ? as I'm going to start with low disposable income with a condition that I will increase it in the next 6-12 months.

Hello nnrao.

In practical terms that condition isn't going to exist as part of an informal debt management plan.

You presumably don't know exactly when your income will increase or exactly by how much?

I think your creditors will want to understand exactly what the situation is currently.

Giving your creditors a broad understanding of why and when you think your circumstances may improve might also appeal to them.

Your creditors will want to see:

1 - Details of your income and expenditure.

2 - Details of your other creditors.

3 - Details of the offer you are making to them.

4 - Possibly some background information about why you are asking for help.

5 - Possibly some information about your assets.
