Hi

A close relative who may or may not be my son, has a failed DMP with Think Link late last year. He tried to be proactive, for once, and announced on Friday he had spoken to Gophermoney who had offered him favourable terms to take out another. Alarm bells immediately rang and I did a quick search on google which suggested they perhaps may not be his best option.(being a bit diplomatic here)
I had a trust deed which I have now been discharged from, and had considerable help on here, so value any advice.
Although I did not use any of the firms represented on here,( I had already signed up) I would suspect one of them may be his best option.

I just wanted to confirm that someone on here would be willing to speak to him about all options and not just a trust deed?

He is currently in full time employment and has debts in excess of about ยฃ12,000.

Many thanks

Hi rodney.

Both David and Kevin's firms offer debt arrangement schemes (DAS).

This operates in a similar way to a debt management plan - but provides important extra guarantees and protections for the user.

Hi rodney,

I'd certainly be happy to speak with the relative and I'm sure Kevin would also.

We can explore his options (Trust Deed, DAS, Sequestration & Budgeting) and see what we can do.

David is not currently posting in the Trust-Deed.co.uk forum

Hi Rodney

I'm glad you asked that question, as a glance at the forum might suggest that we only deal with Trust Deeds, but this is far from the truth. All of the experts on here deal with the whole range of options and every client we see is taken through all options which might be open to them so that they can decide for themselves which they feel most suits them.
