Hi all
I took out a mobile phone contract after going into trust deed and due to illness, income has gone down and i am getting constant telephone calls from this companya as i cannot afford the contracts and I have tried to negotiate reduced payments to get this sorted but they will not accept.
I have been advised to go to citizens advice and they can negotiate for me, but i am worried this will cause my td to fail, the amount is under ยฃ250 but may rise and i am worried, TD payments are all up to date and over half way through?

Hi Pinkveggie,
Like TDA has advised if you are able to maintain your agreed payment to the Trust Deed then this won't fail.
Sometimes a letter from the Citizens Advice can carry a little more weight when negotiating with a creditor and they pay more attention to it.
Is your Trust Deed payment affordable for you given the change in your circumstances and reduction in income? The last thing I would want as an advisor is someone really struggling to pay their payment to the Trust Deed and as a result find themselves getting back into debt again.

Thanks David, yes the payments have been adjusted thank you, its all going to change again so we will see
I will get in touch with citizens advice and get it sorted
Thanks again for peace of mind and i am off to get sorted, I cannot wait until this is finished!
