Here’s a quick question. I’m busy tidying up my credit reports and one debt is showing two differing dates the default date matches the date my Trust Deed was signed but the date satisfied is five months later. Which date is relevant for the entry being removed from my file? Should they match? Thanks in advance.

Hi Black Night.

I'd expect it to vanish from your credit report 6 years after it was first issued.

Sorry to be a bit dense but what would the issue date be? The date the Trust Deed was signed or some other date?

That's the default date - the date that the default notice was first issued.

It should be dated no later than the start of your trust deed.
