Hi, I have been paying my trust deed for almost a year now but have got 2 companies I owe money (catalogues) that were not included in my trust deed to begin with as I thought I could pay them off and keep them incase I needed something for my son.. Which I did so now owe them more.. Can I now add them to my trust deed or not because I have used them since? Any help would Be great.

Welcome to the trust deed forum Daddysgirl.

If the catalogue debts (or part of the debts) existed at the time that the trust deed was signed they should have been included. This element of any current debt will probably be included in the trust deed if you now make your Trustee aware.

If you have incurred further debt since the trust deed began you probably wont be able to include that. You may need to approach the catalogue companies concerned and try to negotiate an affordable payment plan with them.

Probably best to seek the guidance of your contact at your trust deed company now I'd think.

It's not unusual for forgotten accounts to be added later Daddysgirl, though it's best to avoid it where possible.

If there are unincluded debts from the time of signing they really should be included now. It's your decision whether to go ahead and do this though of course.

Thankyou for your advice.. I will give them a call next week and see what they say. It would be better for me as I am due a baby in January and don't want any stress with letters and phonecalls. Thanks again ๐Ÿ™‚
