After writing letters and enclosing a copy of my discharge letter ive just had a look at my credit report only to see that some of them STILL havent changed the account from Default!!! [:(!]

What do i have to do to get these folk to sort themselves out????
I am getting so fed up of this!!!!
I have done my time n paid my debt, they had their chance to object to me getting a Trust Deed!!! [:(!]

My Trust Deed ran so smoothly, not 1 problem!! Any questions or issues i had was sorted out same day [:)]

Then, i come to fixing my Credit Report which is a completely different kettle of fish!!!
All my creditors apart from Clydesdale Bank, Pco Holdco and TTI SPC have taken my account off default.

Is there somewhere i can write a letter to make a complaint about this??

I am livid!!! [:(!]

Sorry I dont have anything helpful to add but just wanted to somewhat hijack your thread before the helpful people arrive...[:I]

Having just completed my payments I'm anticipating being in the same boat as you very shortly i.e. having to write to the creditors to ask them to update my status. What I wondered was where to get the relevant addresses and contact points to direct the requests to? Do most companies have a department that deals with updating of credit files and is there a note of the common contact points anywhere?

Thanks

Hi

Im having a nightmare with the folk i listed!! [V]

Have you requested a Credit Report? All the details for the creditors i had to write to was listed on the Experian Credit Report.

You will need to get Credit Reports from:
Experian
Call Credit Check / Noddle
Equifax

They all read different so if you see any errors you will have to get them amended.
Call Credit / Noddle is the most accurate and up to date. Just make sure you go onto callcredit.co.uk and not .com as they charge you ยฃ12.

I signed up to the online versions. However, just having had a better look I see that there is a 'List of Lenders' on the Equifax site which has all the relevant contacts. Cheers.

Forgot to say, call credit is free for life (apparently).

The other 2 sign up for the 30 day free trial or whatever it is so you get your credit report asap. It will take your bank details but thats for when you forgot to cancel your subscription [:(]
OR if you have a scatterhead like me, pay the ยฃ2 and wait for a few days, get a passcode in the post and read it that way!!! Much safer llf

Yeah I signed up online to all 3. I'd say that Experian is best - the contact details there look much better after having had a better look. They list the specific departments that deal with credit file queries whereas Equifax just had website links. I'll end up paying the monthly fee maybe once or twice I guess when I have to check back a few times - but hey I can afford it now! haha....

Yeah, Experians contact details are fab but as the report goes i had to write to them and get a few amendments done. They even had my discharge date wrong!!
When i get informed that there has been a change made to the Callcredit 1 then i will apply to get the other 2 sent again.
I find it odd that they can all read different but they all get sent the same info?? Another way to fleece money out of people i reckon llf
They are the contact details i wrote to. Like i say everybody else has amended their records apart from the ones i commented about.
Really dont know what to do now? I might give them another week and if nothing has been updated then i think i will email my Trustee and ask them what to do.

mmmmm, now thats interesting!! [:)]

I will wait another week and see if anything changes if not it will be a letter to someone of authority in Clydesdale etc and if still nothing happens then it will be the info comissioner.

Thank you for the link, its much appreciated [:D]
