My trust deed finished some time ago but one creditor has not marked my account as settled. I have written to them and Equifax on numerous occasions and no one seems to be interested...Can you advise what I should do?

Under data protection rules you do have the right for your credit file to reflect reality. You may need to turn to the ICO (Information Commissioners Office) for some help if the lender will not bring your credit record up to date.
