I know it's difficult but i think we should hold off until we know for sure what is happening. I don't really think it is in the best interest of either party to go down this road because they would need to shut this forum down...Both their reputations would be affected as companies that don't stick to their word.

Like Diamond Chap has stated, let's see what develops. We are constantly being told that once we sign a TD we can't go back and change any of it so I'm curious to see how a new Trustee can.

Yes we have said wait and see etc....... However, there is no wait and see as far as I can see. Diamond Chap has written in black and white that he had been told at the start and has in writing that there was, no ffurther valuation at the end and no interest in equity. Now he is getting offered a "deal" to extend by a year to cover equity. Everyone who has made 3 years of mortgage payments will probably have equity of some sort.

No doubt I'll be told to contact my trustee as each case is individual etc however as I said in a previous post I'd rather not highlight the matter. It should not even be up for debate as far as I'm concerned. It was the main thing I got clarified in writing when I signed the TD!!

Scrappy318.

One of the major reasons I locked the previous thread was because a couple of posters had added nonsensical content (quite possibly inadvertently and rooted in concern I accept) and had breached forum etiquette and rules.

You were one of those posters.

You informed Candlewick on that thread that you have a right to post on this forum (before quite strangely accusing an unnamed expert of masquerading as Candlewick).

To be clear, you have no right to post on this forum. You're here as a guest who is subject to rules. It's your choice whether to abide by the forum rules which you agreed to when you signed up to the site. One of those rules is that you treat other posters with respect.

Your choice now. You can contribute your views to this subject and others in a manner that's respectful, or you'll no longer be able to contribute at all.

To everyone else who is posting, I do very much continue to sympathise with the worry and uncertainty that you're experiencing at the moment.

Diamond Chap did mention the possibility that the new firm is to contact PJG to discuss certain matters. I know nothing further of this, but am obviously keen to hear what the outcome of any such discussions are in due course.

Just a general thought for everyone.

You're individually responsible for what you write here.

There's been one post on this thread within the past 24 hours that someone might just have quite legitimate reasons to consider actionable.

No complaint received at this point in time, but please be thoughtful about what you write for your own sake as well as that of the forum.

If you're (in hindsight) concerned about something you wrote previously, you do have the ability to edit it using the pencil icon.

Hi steve1984.

You'll need to decide whether you're happy to remain accountable for that post, as will any of us that have written anything here.

Hmmmm I see nothing in it that refers to anyone or any company. Seems like menial banter to me......

I live in fear daily though so I'll delete it just in case I am the baddie you are talking about.

I'm not accusing anyone of being a baddie steve1984.

Just a friendly reminder to people who quite understandably might be feeling strongly about a situation, that being online and using usernames doesn't mitigate our personal responsibility for what we write.

Thank you for your reply TDA....your right I am a guest and so is every member of this forum....if we don't have an honest appraisal and opinion on what is happening to the honest hard working people who are tied into trust deeds then we all fail in our efforts to assist.....this is a matter of urgency to everyone concerned in the transfare of our custom to another company and it would be very unwise to skirt around an issue that could have such an impact on so many forum members including myself...if your threatening to remove my views from this forum then that is up to you, but remember that this problem is not going away, we have been sold out and we look to you and other experts to guide us, but I just don't see it so I personally try and give as much info as I can to assist, if this is against your rules then why have a forum in the first place....on another point for everyone,,,, AIB state that a TD can be reviewed by a new trustee but it would be unusual to change the original terms....and if it does get changed ie another valuation then we must contact the AIB on 0300 200 2600 immediately and they will seek clarity from the TD company as to why they have changed the original agreement and that we must provide them with a copy of the original agreement....hope this helps any members who are having any issues.

That's useful information Scrappy318. Thank you for sharing it.

From the content of your post I'm not sure that you fully understood the point that I made previously.

Respectful and honest opinions are welcome. Further disrespect directed towards any other forum member will result in you being unable to post here any further.

It's really that simple and entirely up to you.

TDA thank you for your threat...if you thought i was disrespectfull to a forum member ie your earlier quote about candlewick, why didnt you advise me then?..could it be im just posting a view different to yours today!!!..further...this forum is very good in giving people comfort in knowing they are not alone...if i can help them and myself understand this whole debacle of selling us ti another TD company then that has got to be a good thing...i take it you will now close my membership now but before you do remember that in this democratic country in which we live freedom to express our opinions is a right...and to try and smother something that maybe rocks the boat can only mean unfairness and show other members a possible conflict of interests...

I think it is important for everyone to try and keep calm.
I have to admit I am very disappointed to be in this position.

Having counted down the 36 months, thinking I was over the worst and looking forward to getting on with my life, I was exceedingly gutted and felt physically sick and angry. I also feel very vulnerable. CF and PJG will both know who I am, and that makes me nervous.

Having gained a lot of reassurance from this Forum in the past, I am saddened that none of the Company Reps are able to give a view on whether they feel any changes which have been discussed here are legal.

I appreciate they are not Lawyers but they must have some opinion.

As I stated previously, it is best to see what comes out of the discussions, if they happen. Mark's input would be welcome.
Best we are able to constructively share information.
