yep agree neverending with your post glad you got you form 5 but that's the way they are playing me hopefully I don't get made redundant as the oil job losses will continue for some time esp my company who are being taken over I,m at my wits end worry about job an these vultures about to swoop down on me.all I can do is hang on for the 6 months plus an see then
I would love to put it to my MSP but as I live in England I don't have one!
Personally if it was me facing job uncertainty and you had met all your obligations/payments I wouldn't tell them - I know this isn't right but why are you being penalised?
Good luck Maverick267.
No idea just seems the way they are dealing with it seems a low priority, least my monthly payments have stopped to them just hope I don't win lottery ,was needing a better car but not taking the risk in case they ask (if I could get fianc?ยฎ) for more, as per redundancy money . Job seems safer now but worry still there till end of year hopefully trust deed process finished then
Ok so I emailed them every day (sometimes twice) telling them there was no equity etc and now I've had one back saying ok it has been passed on to the closure team with no more payments etc required. Hooray.
So has anyone made it to this stage and if so what was the timescale from there in regards to getting this form 5 thing etc?
steve
Hi
That's my situation too. I'm with closure team but I have been told to expect this part of the process to take six months. You could try badgering the closure team. I personally am putting it to back of my mind. I have my six months of bank statements and payslips ready and prepared so when I get the call they can be submitted quickly with no delay from my side. I know it's a an anti-climax I really thought I would have got my form 5 by now but it's not something we can control but as I say I'm not fretting. I have decided to put my savings in the sock drawer which I fully acknowledge is paranoia but still six months will mean I have a few bob and I would hate to lose it because I have no way of knowing how cf would interpret this period of time post the 36 months and I just don't know this company, they just appeared in my life!
Aw what more bank statements etc? I thought that was done with.
steve
Well that's just my assumption Steve, it seems logical given the final step is a closure review, just gather your paperwork so you don't have any last minute delays on your side and hopefully it's sooner than the six months being quoted!
Better start getting some money up the loft then!!
steve
I just trawled through a few old creditfix threads there.... They seem to say no final review once it's with the closure team.
Hopefully as I can't be bothered with filling that sheet out again!!
steve
I'm with Creditfix too; got form 5 in Feb, no final review. Still no discharge date on AIB though.
worriedme
Same here no final review!
Sounds good. So if you dont mind could you tell me how long after your final payment did it take to get your form 5? I've not emailed them for a few weeks now so just wondering when I should annoy them again!
steve
yep I wouldn't' mind knowing average time between final payment and them saying we are putting paperwork to closure team times bet there all different
I raised a concern regarding this review process in another thread as I've never been asked to complete a review in almost 14 months,it does make you wonder why when they are making people wait so long to fully complete the process! With six months to go i don't want to be delayed further at the end when it turns out I've "missed reviews" along the way.
Got the form now. So that's only a month after final payment. So if you find it is taking longer then I'd start emailing them regularly.
No final review.
They did initially mention equity etc but I put an end to it by quickly explaining it was dealt with at start.
Was certainly extra worry and hassle getting sold on but all seems fine in the end.
So try not to worry if you are nearing end hopefully will go smoothly like mine.
