hi folks new on here

i started a trust deed in april 06 and finished paying almost 2 years ago. the date of discharge was april 10[:D]. just wondered what my credit report should look like now as i am confused to what it showns.
2 creditors are remain on my file showing as defaults one with date satisfied as 2006 and one as 2010, both were included in my trust deed and none of my other creditors from my trust deed are shown on any of the reports.
Does this sound correct?

thanks

Welcome to the forum gk1982.

Nobody here is a credit record expert, but the fact that any defaults now show as satisfied will be good news if you are looking to borrow again.

Hi gk

I'm similar in that I'm trying to sort out my file. From what I understand the date of defaults on your account should be the date you signed your trust deed and no later. These will then stay on your report for 6 years along with your trust deed. They should all be satisfied with the date you were discharged from the deed. If not then you should chase up your creditor to amend the details on the report. Not an easy task to be honest, I have just managed to get one of my previous creditors to amend my report and that was after three months of writing/phone calls etc.

Good Luck
