Hi
I am hoping that someone can answer this question.

How long does it take for the Credit report agencies (Equifax or Experian) to update their files and show a Trust Deed as being satisfied?

Thanks in advance
Hunny

Hi Hunny,

I'm afraid none of us are experts on the intricacies of how credit reference agencies work.

Is there a particular reason why this is important to you at the moment?

We do have experience in how people find the practicalities of the credit world post protected trust deed.

I received my discharge letter in September ad I was just curious really! Its not that important. I was thinking about applying for a full current account but may leave it a few months just to be safe.

Hello hunny,

You might want to try the Co-op bank. Their Cashminder account is widely available including to people in Trust Deeds. We've had a lot of feedback about good service levels as well. If you don't have a local branch you can nominate your local Post Office to pay in cheques etc.
