Hope someone can advise. I completed my trust deed in February 2013, and it was discharged in July (both me and the trustee).

It is showing as completed on my credit record, however, my accounts with Barclays and RBS are still showing as having a balance outstanding and in default. Is this normal? Others within the trust deed are showing as settled. Do different banks just have different practices in how they update your credit profile or otherwise?

Thank you!

Tanya

Hi Tanya.

If you've been discharged you're entitled to the balance on these accounts showing as being zero.

You may wish to contact Barclays and RBS to ask them to update your file.

Thanks again, TDA,

do you know which departments of the banks deal with these things (I got it wrong, it's actually Halifax and RBS, Barclays have zeroed out the account I had with them)?

I'm afraid I don't.

I'd just call their customer services line.
