Just had a nice phone call from CF to inform me that my TD is now complete and I should have my form 5 in around 4wks time.

My last payment with PJG was due to be back on the 15th of October 2014 - just a day or so after they transferred my case, so I was, like many others, worried about a possible change of tact with regards any equity.
But today they called simply to confirm, and put my mind at ease, that they will not be pursuing any revaluation.
I thought the call was a very nice touch from CF.

Thank you to everyone on the forum for the advice that they have given me and others throughout the last 3 and a bit years.
And particularly to Mark and his team, Maria and Jaimie, at PJG.
Also to CF, who have been very good in my dealings with them over the phone and via email.

That sounds like very good news JintyMcSkinty.

I do hope that we hear from you soon that your Form 5 has been safely received and recorded on the Register of Insolvencies.

Excellent news for you as well worriedme.

It's good to hear that the work of discharging clients is being handled promptly. It's something we know is very important to people from the contributions that have been made here over the years.

Congratulations on your respective discharges.

Unfortunately it would appear not everyone is being treated the same.

I made my last payment to PJG last August and it is now six months since my three year period expired yet still no discharge from Creditfix.

This despite having no property to worry about and never missing a payment.

Welcome to the forum InLimbo. I'm sorry to hear about this delay.

Have you talked to your new trustee's office about this at all?

I've contacted them several times and their response is always that they are working through the backlog of PJG clients. This seemed understandable four or five monhts ago but now rings increasingly hollow.

It's also a little disconcerting to see others who it appears finished their term after me being discharge before me, though I understand each case is different.

Anyway I will keep on at them until I'm free.

Of course finishing my payments last August was a huge burden lifted, but as I'm sure many who have been in the same position would attest there is no real relaxing until Form 5 is in hand.

Shouldn't PJG dealt with your case closing back in August ?
The cases weren't passed on until mid October .

Last payment was in august, didn't actually finish the 3 years until September. Still before the transfer right enough.

PJG even told me around then my case would move to closing soon after the three year period was up.

Still waiting.......

Hi InLimbo, I was in a similar situation to you but have now been discharged. My advice is to keep at them until they confirm your case has been passed to the closures team. That's what I did and it seemed to work. It is frustrating seeing others who made their last payments after you being discharged but keep faith as it will eventually happen for you.

Also congrats to JintyMcSkinty, it's a great feeling knowing it's over [:)]
