Hi
I just wanted to say that I received confirmation that initial cash payment has been accounted for. I am delighted by this and feel so much more relaxed now, I know it may seem a small detail in the bigger scheme of things but it does seem that the data transfer is working out for anyone still feeling anxious.
I think everyone will have expected this outcome downandout, but I'm glad to hear that you've had this confirmation now.
Data migration often turns out to be much more complex and time consuming than is expected.
Final payment made to Creditfix (Passed on from PJG) on 2 Feb, 2015. Just had email confirming my case is now at the 'review for closure' stage. Hoping for a speedy end. Feeling awesome. #128512;

Hi worriedme. Can I ask what your equity position was with pjg and if anything has changed etc? Thanks
steve
We had no equity at start of TD and have written confirmation that no further valuation would be done, but that was with PJG so not sure if anything will change with Creditfix. Will update as and when things happen.

I was the same as you worriedme - no equity at the start and no further valuation would be done etc! I made my last payment on 25 January and have it confirmed that my case has been passed for closure. It will be three weeks this Monday since I've heard anything. Will update as things change too.
Ok great. You 2 are the key to it all then! If yours go as planned then we can all rest easier hopefully!
steve
We did have equity to pay but like you both now on the final stage and been told by Creditfix that our case has been passed for closure. Now its just 9 more days (of the 14 days) left to go till closure (that is trusting creditors accept offers). After nearly 6 yrs 9 more days seems an eternity!
What's this 14 day thing for??

I understand that its the stage when the creditors are given the opportunity to accept the Trustees offers. I believe its the legal cut off point. Mark McF exlains the legal process under another question thread about Creditfix. I also checked the AiB (Accountants in Bancruptcy) website FaQ page where it explains the process fairly clearly. Our contact at Creditfix was very helpful too giving us info. Worth asking.
