My trust deed finished in Sept 13 and i was looking at my credit file and RBS and the Bank of Ireland have my accounts as defaulted every month since then.

Is this correct or should they be marked as settled since i have paid some money back?

Hi bighibee2000.

At the point at which you were discharged from a trust deed you're entitled to expect your creditors to:

1 - Mark any default notices as being "satisfied" or "partially satisfied".

2 - Show that no balance remains owing on the accounts.

We often hear of creditors that don't process these changes unprompted. That prompting isn't a part of a trustee's work and is something you'd need to do.
