Hi just looking for clarification. I was discharged 31/10/13 should my credit file show default with zero balance or satisfied with zero balance beside the creditors?

Hi ldc.

When you say default is this a formal "default notice" or do you mean that the account status is "default"?

Sorry if that's confusing. It is a bit confusing, but they seem to be two different things.

OK. It's no longer in default as I understand it because no money is owed.

Therefore I think the balance should be zero.

The fact that it was in default may still show, but I don't think that's what the current status should be.

Usual warning - we're not experts on credit files or credit ratings.
