Hi golf20.

Our understanding is that they'll stay there for six years from the date they were registered.

If the registration date is after you signed a trust deed you should be able to get the dates taken back (which will mean they drop off sooner).

Hi golf20.

If they're dated before your trust deed I'd just leave them as presumably they were properly issued at the time and will drop off your credit file sooner.

If you have default notices registered after the trust deed began you'll need to contact each of the lenders individually to request that they make amendments. You'll then need to monitor the credit reference agencies to check that it has been done.
