Hi all - I was discharged from my PDT in June 2011 so it's a couple of years since I've posted on here, but I have a question that hopefully someone can help with.

These past few months I have been monitoring my credit report (via Experian Creditexpert) and I note that all but one of the debts which were included on my trust deed are now marked as "satisfied".

The debt that is still marked as "default" was a personal loan with Northern Rock (I actually had two loans with them - the other is marked as satisfied). Ordinarily I would simply contact the creditor and ask them to update my file to show the debt as being satisfied, but since Northern Rock are no longer in existence, I'm not sure who I need to contact to get my credit file corrected?

Anyone got any experience of dealing with this scenario? Many thanks in advance.

Welcome back imcville. I hope you're well?

I think you'd just contact NRAM in the first instance. If it's not them I'm sure they could point you in the right direction.

Sorry for late reply - thanks TDA! I'll contact NRAM and see how it goes.

Seems a bit odd that of the two loans I had with Northern Rock, one was automatically marked satisfied while the other was not. This is the last "blip" on my credit report though so I am obviously keen to get it resolved rather than just waiting for the defaulted account to drop off!

Thanks again.

Hi imcville.

Good luck with that and let us know how you get on.

If you've had an issue with it I'm sure other people have had (or will have in the future) the same problem.
