Great advice thanks basic electrons. We are hopefull it wont get as far as bankruptcy as it's been a long 4 years already and we are 12mths off getting rid of it altogether. Of course we would love to be able to make those 12 payments and be done with it all and in theory on paper we should be able to do that but sometimes life gets in the way and you have no way of helping things like kids outgrowing cots ect. You can't tell them to sleep on the floor and even buying the most basic of things can mean a payment has to be missed in order to pay for something else, it's really hard. The way I see it though is in 2yrs time everything will have dropped off his file and we can start to live again. Thanks so much for the help.
