Hello!

I'm probably being absolutely completely stupid here... Forgive me, I'm still blaming baby brain...! But just wondering how an advisor from WA was able to contact us today on the basis of my previous post?!! How do they know who the posts are from as it's not our real name on the forum??!
Not that I mind, they called us today so quick response!! And saved us the price of a phone call to them!
I'm just confused...!

I would guess that it's because this isn't the first time you've posted on here, followed by contact with WA.

They already know that you're 'Nemo1 aka Jemima McWhachle' [Disclaimer - that's a name I've just made up aplogies to anyione who is called Jemima McWhachle. If Nemo1 is genuinely called Jemima McWhachle, I wish I was as good at guessing the winning lottery numbers!].

Hi Nemo1.

I wondered the same when Sarah first posted her reply here on your previous thread.

I can only imagine they've made a link as candlewick describes or by being able to link some of your posts to a case that they have on their system.

Hi Nemo!

I am sorry if it looks like I am stalking you! Over the past year of so you've posted a number of times and I've responded to you a few times to answer your questions. From your various posts you've given enough information for me to identify you so I'd made a note of your name and Wilson Andrews reference number in my notebook. It really is no more sinister than that.

If you do need any further help or advice then please let us know.

Sarah

To be honest, the thing I found most confusing was that you didn't just pick up the phone and call WA about your question.

It is a recurring piece of advice from TDA and the experts - "best speak to your trustee about this".

I do think it's good advice. Often the trustee's reply will put the person's mind at rest.

And, if it doesn't, then the reply itself can be put up for discussion [;)]

I was thinking the same candlewick. Right from the initial phone call with the client it's about trying to build a trusting relationship in that if there are any problems or questions then the client knows they can pick up the phone, send a text or drop an email to their relationship manager/trustee.

My advice is always pick up the phone if you are worried about anything at all.
