Hi BigHibbie2000

Congrats on completing the trustdeed...light at the end of the tunnel. I completed my trustdeed back in 2011 and i'm now 14 months away from everything dropping off my file. It takes ages to chase the creditors up regarding clearing up your file. I had several defaults which were showing after the date of my TD becoming protected and they are slow to update this (just off the phone to Capital one for the 3rd time). The credit builder from cashplus does seem to work, I have done it for the past 3 years and will continue for another 2. Dont chase too much credit too quickly, I found after 6 months I could get a vanquis visa card for paying food etc but pay off in full. Recently I just got an o2 monthly contract, also positive on the credit file. It really depends how badly your file was affected. I had 5 defaults so initial credit score was less than 50 out of 1000! Your credit file won't jump up quickly after discharge from the TD as defaults show for another 3 years. Keep at it, well done again!
