Good Morning everyone!
My name is Toby and I first "met" everyone just over 3 years ago and was lucky enough to meet Mark McFadyen in person when he visited our home to discuss our up and coming Trust Deed agreement.
This morning my notification of closure came through (form 5), sent by "Creditfix's" Chris Parry. I am so relieved that my time paying my trust deed has ended and I can now look forward with some relish at the prospect of a relatively debt free future.
My last payment was January, so the ball, although still rolling, is slowly coming, finally, to a standstill! Oh how good it feels! It's been somewhat difficult at times, but what this whole episode has taught me is that with a little discipline you can achieve a great deal more than you ever thought you might. This whole sorry episode has taught me great humility and also has instilled in me a real determination NEVER to go back to these stressful and distressing days pre trust deed.
I have drawn a great deal of comfort from visiting this forum and I think it's one of the most beneficial tools an individual can have in his/her armoury while waiting on events to unfold and indeed when they are in place. All kinds of advice and information was and obviously still is available and I would encourage people who are finding things difficult to visit the forum on a regular basis.
I read with interest some comments about "Creditfix" and there was a fair amount of negativity contained in some of the posts. I can honestly say I have had nothing but excellent service from this company and although I would have liked to have seen my situation come to fruition with Mark's company, I understand the situation whereby I was allocated to Creditfix. The e-mails from Ms. Mooney and telephone calls from a young man (apologies, his name escapes me) were nothing short of wholly professional and the expediency with which my form 5 has arrived is most impressive.
Apologies for the lengthy post, but I don't post that often and I would just like to let everyone know how I feel and how I have dealt with my situation.
I have felt very privileged to have been involved, although in a relatively indirect fashion, with many of you on this site and I thank you all for that.
Mr McFadyen and his staff have been wonderful in their support whenever I had any problems. I am most grateful.
So that's it in a nutshell apart from one last comment. Last, but my no means least, my sincere and heartfelt thanks to our fabulously equipped and in my opinion extremely gifted young lady AMY JELLINGS, without whom I would not have been able to see out my "time" in my trust deed as confidently and as efficiently as I have. She has been, and I know without any doubt whatsoever, she will continue to be a huge asset to this forum and I hope she continues to weave her way through all who come on here and give the superb and at times the supremely comforting support she seems to do so naturally and without any thoughts of any thanks or recognition. I also know that "knowing" Amy, she won't thank me for my comments and her face will most certainly exhibit a few shades of red as she reads this post!! Ha ha! Sorry about that aspect Amy, buy you really were an inspiration to me and I can't thank you enough.
So there we have it my friends. Time has passed very quickly and I'm approaching something of an even keel sometime soon I feel. To all who are currently in the depths of despair, keep visiting this forum and remember there is so much support out there. You don't have to face the difficult times alone.
Good Luck everyone. I wish you all well.
Good luck in the next stage of your life Toby. My final payment was 1 Feb so I am hoping that Creditfix continue to be as efficient as they were with you and that my Form 5 will be with me soon. Like you, this Forum has proved invaluable throughout the term of my TD and now I'm ready to live a debt free life.

Congrats Toby....
Did you have any equity to deal with?
*blushes*
Hi Toby.
Congratulations to you. Those three years have passed quickly!
I'm glad to hear that your new trustee has efficiently completed the good work that Mark and his colleagues began.
Your comments are much appreciated and we wish you the very best for the future.
