Hi
My TD finished in 2013 with WA's and I believe my trustee has finished also. I looked up ROI and can't find anything at all coming up for me no info at all. I've tried just my name and town also. Should it show for a few years or fact nothing there appear like it's been and gone?
I've checked my credit with credit call and they have my debts marked at £0 and closed and due to be removed in 9 mths.
I've recently had a letter from Barclaycard saying I've ppi due and as I'm still in a trust deed the cheque been sent to WA. The ppi request has come from my trustee as I didn't apply for it so dies this mean they are still working on obtaining these and still open case or that they will have to reopen my TD to deal with this ppi?
Thanks

Hi Star,

Your case ceases being on the Register of Insolvencies one year after your trustee has been discharged.

If they've been discharged, I doubt this claim will have much to do with them. There's also no certainty that a firm can reopen a trust deed, even if they wanted to.

I'd give your former trustee a call. It might be that they're happy to forward the payment on to you, or that they'll confirm to the Barclaycard that they have no interest in the funds. If that happens then the money may end up coming to you.

Thanks TDA for the reply.
I've sent an email to WA asking what their intention is with the ppi payment sent to them. Fingers crossed they won't be looking to reopen my case. I'll give them a phone if haven't heard back in day or two and let you know how I get on.

Hi just quick update, I contacted Wilson Andrews who contacted barclaycard to confirm my trust deed finished and they hAve no interest in the ppi refund.
I then contacted barclaycard who have advised that a cheque will now be sent out to myself in the post.
Yay

Good for you Star.

I did suspect that it would work out like this.

As I was still waiting to receive payment I phoned barclay who ate now informing that as the cheque to Wilson Andrews was cancelled they are now recalculating my refund and I should receive payment in the next two weeks if not call back. Argh can tell this is not going to go smoothly

Hi Star

You'll be fine - all they have to do is go through the admin process again.

Hi Star,

I don’t think you have anything to worry about and I’m sure the money will come your away eventually. Just an internal admin process as tinsoldier has advised.

Keep on at Barclaycard and chase them up if you haven’t received the money in the next couple of weeks.

I am still waiting to see if I am getting my PPI money. Will be two years in January. Been to court five times, spent 442 on a letter which was no use but was requested by Sheriff. It is not fair that some people have been getting their money and some not. Still waiting for a decision to be made at Supreme Court. It has dragged on for too long and been a stessful couple of years.
