Has anyone been able to do this whilst being in a trust deed? I'm considering moving from Sky/BT to Virgin Media. I know they do a credit check. Would they just reject my application or would they require a deposit. Just wondering.

Hi gillian.

I don't know the answer to this and cannot remember the question arising here before.

Hopefully another member may be able to share their experience.

hi Gillian, I went with Virgin Media last year, about 8 months into my TD. I passed the Credit Check and got accepted no problem. They took no deposit from me. I also took out a new mobile phone contract with them last October and passed that Credit Check no problem also. Maybe they are not as strict as they are not actually lending you money?

Hopefully you will be fine.

Thanks for adding that information dm29.

I'm sure the information will be useful to many people considering a switch of supplier.

Excellent, I'll have a look over the Virgin Media packages and see how it compares to Sky and BT which is what I have at the moment. Thanks for the help.
