I entered a trust deed 13/12/2010 and I believe this is when all my defaulted accounts should be dated as the default date?
Some are a month or 2 later and some even further on.
How do I go about getting them all changed tithe 13/12/10?
Is there a template letter I can print and then send off with a copy of my trust deed ?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Twothirdsin.

Yes - default notices should be dated around the time that your trust deed began.

You'll need to contact each credit individually. You could choose to contact their customer services people, or you could make a complaint so that it gets dealt with more formally and within a defined timescale.

You don't need to write a letter at all - a call to each of them might get things moving quicker.

We don't provide template letters, but others may be prepared to share with you what they've written themselves.

In terms of how you might present this, the following information may help you:

Someone may be prepared to share one they've used with you Nearlyover.

I think a quick explanation over the telephone of what you expect to happen will probably suffice though.
