can you tell me if my son can purchase a car as he lives with me and I have had a td for 3 years, will he be refused credit giving my address? he isn't aware that I have a td

Credit records are an individual thing.
Do you have any joint financial accounts with your son?
If not, your credit rating should be irrelevant to his ability or inability to get car credit.
