Don't know what to do really. I can't get 2 mobile companies to clear off my credit file. I was discharged in 2011 but they are still registering defaults every month and haven't cleared the account. I've sent the certificate 4 times now but they keep sending me from pillar to post saying it's with a recovery company. The recovery company say they don't have anything for me to phone back the mobile company. When I phone them back they say they have notes requesting I send in the certificate, which I do and keep doing but nothing is being done. I want this all cleared up and off my file as i'm now over 3yrs clear from my discharge. Is there anything else I can do than wait it out another almost 2yrs for it to fall off my file itself?

Contact the Information Commissioner's Office trustdeed1.

Reporting incorrect information to credit reference agencies isn't acceptable from a data protection point of view, not least when a company has already been made fully aware that it's incorrect.

Thanks, I will do that. Getting so frustrating as one of the mobile companies is saying I don't exist! I have given them the details straight off my credit file but they say they can't find me on their system - so who exactly is marking these defaults every month then :/

Is one of these O2?

I have had issues with them and contacted the referral team direct via email and issue was resolved!
