was just wondering as found it quite strange got a call from a withheld number tonight and it was a man from mckenzie stewart asking if i would be interested in taking out a trust deed said no as had one he asked who with and asked me how much i was paying a month,when he found out i was happy with company im with he then went on to ask me did i have any friends or family i thought would be interested in one,i should of asked where he got my phone number from and why he phoned me but never dawned on me just out of curiosity i was wondering if anyone else had had a phone call

Obviously I have no knowledge how your details were obtained, but certain companies buy a variety of data that they then use to contact people.
One well known debt management company writes out to people that appear on court lists for debt related matters for example.
Other companies buy data lists of people who have been turned down for a loan or similar things.
Another way this happens is that there are websites, with contact forms, that exist to generate debt solution leads. These leads are sold on, and are often repeatedly sold on again and again afterwards.
