An update for anyone interested - my trustee is demanding I pay the full 50% of my bonus despite the evidence I've presented. I now face being almost £300 worse off in a month I should have been better off for being rewarded for my performance. To me that seems unreasonable, but my trustee only seems interested in the numbers instead of the reality of how it will affect me.

I've had a couple of problems with Kjightsbridge since I started looking into the TD and really hate them at the moment. And of course wishing I could go back and stop my younger self from running up debts I couldn't manage in the first place!

Hi shadow79.

I guess you're correct that a trustee has to be led by the numbers, though these should be used as the basis for treating client and creditors fairly within the scope of the original agreement.

We've had some posters here over the years that have had to pay over the full amount of any additional earnings, so I'm glad that at least you've retained some of this money to help out with an expensive period in your life.
