I had a trust deed that finished 10 years ago, I now need a rent bond and I'm wondering if my deed will still be on file anywhere that the bond company can access? Thanks

Welcome to the forum alleycat45.

I don't think you have anything to worry about.

A trust deed falls off your credit file six years after it began.

It also falls off the public records a year after your trustee was discharged.

This wouldn't be the case nowadays, but there will be a permanent record of your trust deed on the Edinburgh Gazette. I can't see any reason why anyone would go looking there though.

Fingers crossed, you'll be fine.
