Hi
Firstly I would like to say what an excellent web site this is, I was in a financial mess with loans, credit cards and payday loans, and was sick with worry an could not pay them, I googled and had came across many web sites, but did not know who to trust as I am a home owner and was concerned about my house being taken from me.
This was the best website by far, after posting on the forum, I was contacted by David Tannock from this forum, and employed by Wylie + Bisset, and after a few meetings with David everything was arranged for me. The service was excellent and more important to me, I wasn't made feel as if I was the only stupid person to get into this mess and also that I could trust David and Wylie & Bisset, all my options were explained clearly and I didnt feel any pressure to do one thing or another or even choose David or the company he worked for.

Best advice I can give is not to sit and worry, ask for help and you will find it here, and also be carefull what company you pick as the one I had contacted prior to finding this web site, has loads of fancy tv an paper adverets, but the advice they gave me turned out not so good ,stick to the companies advertised on this web site.

Good Luck and a massive Thank You.[:D]

Hi Fran,

I am new and awaiting my TD to become protected. I too use Wylie and Bisset and Paul has been brilliant with me. Wasn't pushy and helped put my mind at ease. I was embarrassed and panicked when I started getting calls from creditors chasing for a missed payment. Is great to know that they are there and yes they know what they are taking about and even though they run a business and take a share of repayments to creditors it's so worth it. I Am like you and many others as in have a house and car and u was ill and sick with nerves thinking I was losing them.... what a difference speaking with these guys now!!!Good luck to you I hope our trust deeds fly in :):)

Hi fran20 and Garfield1030.

Thank you for taking the time to post about your positive experiences setting up trust deeds.

Forums naturally tend to attract comment when things are going wrong which means they can be at risk of creating a slightly false impression for readers considering their options.

I suspect most people are perfectly happy with how everything is being managed with their trust deed, but there's obviously little reason to visit a forum like this and post about it in those circumstances.

It's really useful that you have as it will be reassuring for those that are currently reading this and weighing up their options to deal with debts that are causing them problems.

Hi fran20,

Thanks for taking the time to post about your situation and also for the positive review on your experience in dealing with me and Wylie Bisset.

I'm pleased that I was able to help you deal with the financial difficulties that you were experiencing. As we try to say to everyone it's best to speak with a couple of advisors from different firms to really get a feel for what options you have available and exactly how these options will work. You are then in a much stronger position to deal with your financial difficulties and can compare the advice you have been given to pick the best option available to you.

The biggest problem for people is the worry and fear of the unknown which I think is what puts people off asking for help until they are really desperate. Once they do pick up the phone a whole range of options open up for them to deal with their financial difficulties in a positive way.

Garfield1030, thanks again for the kind works and positive review of Paul.

You both know where Paul and I are should you have any problems or questions going forward.

I'm sure both your plans will pass without any problems and before you know it you will be coming to the end.
