i am confused with the case - i understand the mum and daughter are on benefits however it is the husband that is in the Trust Deed

Please clarify if the husband is in employment

Callie's second post in the thread seems to confirm that the household had no earned income at the start of the trust deed and that this hasn't changed.

i would agree with above posts- on the basis of their being no assets - LILA would be the best solution

Sorry for the delay. We don't own any property and none of us working.my husband took the trust deed as he didn't want bankruptcy.

Hi Callie,

If your husband would not go bankrupt, and voluntarily agreed to enter into a trust deed with a certain level of contribution, then I suppose it's for him to meet the commitments that he made.

I'm not sure that all trust deed firms would have been happy to take on the case though.
