I wondered if anyone can advise please.

I had a protected trust deed, discharged last month. I am involved in a local group which is also a registered charity. Is it possible for me to become treasurer of this group and would the bank accept me as a signatory?

Many thanks for any help.

Welcome to the forum scooby79.

In terms of becoming treasurer of a charity, I think the only people that can decide whether they're happy about that are the charity. There might need to be checks to see if they have any rules about personal insolvency, but I'd guess this would be less likely to affect you if you have been discharged.

In terms of the bank and being a signatory, I'm afraid the only people that can answer that are the bank.

I apologise that I don't seem to have helped you much but I don't think general answers apply in this instance. Hopefully it's a pointer in the right direction though.

Thank you for your reply. I will call the bank they do their business with and check. Thanks again
