Hi everyone
I have recently opened a what I thought was a basic bank account with Nationwide prior to my sequestration. However after looking at the info on this website re accounts I realise I should have opened a cash card account when i think the account I have opened with them is called a flex account!
Do you think I am likely to have a problem with this and should I maybe change it before i start to get wages in/direct debits coming off as I cant really afford for it to be frozen.
Thanks again for any replies
yeah thats what I thought aswell tda, thank you.
Hi
I have recently opened a Nationwide account as well.
I went into the branch and asked for a card cash account.
Was told I would have to send away for that account.
So filled in forms. Then had to do it again as Id made a mistake.
Pretty sure I have the correct account , but the paper work does
say flex account on it.
There are two colours of card (I think) I have the pink one.
Would that be the right one. If anyone knows.
I might check that as I have already signed the TD
hi Ann910 I have a cash card account with them and the card is a sort of purple/pinkish colour but if its like mine it has cash card+ printed above the long number on your card. Only way you can open one of these accounts with them is to send away for it as you did the flex account would I think normally be opened at the branch so it sounds like you do have the basic account.
hi worriedmary
Thanks, it is more purple and does say cash card +
and I did have to send away for it. Phew!
Thank you.
As always sudden panic about every little thing.
