Hi folks, I completed a trust deed with Invocas on the 1/09/14 and eventually received my discharge documents, which I think I'd still be waiting on if I hadn't phoned every day for the last 2 weeks to ask what was going on.

I feel that it is important to make people aware of how unprofessional this company are. From the beginning to the end of my trust deed I had nothing but problems. The problems mainly come from clueless staff and the fact that they contradict themselves with every little bit of information or advice that they provided.

An example of this is perfectly illustrated when it came to sorting out my discharge documents.

They told me that they had posted them out to me 1st class post on the 3/12/14 so I waited patiently until the Friday, but still no sign of the paperwork. I called them later that afternoon where I was told that they had in fact only been posted 1st class that day (5/12/14). I waited until 9/12/14 but still no paperwork. I called again and was told I would get a call back which didn't come, I then called again on the 10/12/14 and I was told that they could email me a copy of the documents in pdf form. The following day I received the email with the documents in pdf form, signed by the trustee on the 8/12/14 which proves that the documents couldn't possibly have been posted on the 3/12/14 or the 5/12/14 like I was told they were. I felt really angry that I was told a load of porkies for the over a week. Why not just tell me the truth?

The hassle with the discharge documents is a small but perfect example of the incompetence of Invocas staff members and the unprofessional conduct of the company as a whole.

My advice is to avoid these clowns at all cost. Do your homework before signing any kind of financial agreement with similar companies.

had I taken my own advice 3 years ago, I think the whole process would have been smoother and less stressful and more importantly, not with Invocas.

Welcome to the forum aidy88.

I guess we've all had an experience with a firm where things didn't work out as we were told. It has happened to me recently and it was really frustrating.

On a more positive note, congratulations to you on completing your trust deed and best wishes for the future.
