I've emailed my IP directly and that was the reply. I thought that breaks in certain circumstances were allowed but obviously my circumstances aren't valid.

Unfortunately I can't borrow the money from someone else.

I know things haven't been perfect with my TD but feel that I've done the hard bit now - this job makes it slightly easier!

I'm sure this will not be fatal. You won't be homeless on the basis of one missed rent-IF that becomes necessary to miss, which I wouldn't think likely.

I don't think it's the first option for most trustees to ignore the facts which support you now being better able to correct the blips.

Hi Neverendingstory.

How far into the trust deed are you?

How far are you currently behind on the original agreement?

Hi TDA

I signed in March 2011 - I missed one payment in December and had a reduction last month of 100. I have offered to make up the reduction of 100 by paying extra over the next two months - so if I were to be allowed to miss this payment - I would be two months behind.

So in reality at the moment I am one month behind.

Thanks Pamjo - but in reality I think I will be getting about 500 wages this month - which means I have hardly any money to last six weeks let alone pay my TD and rent - the vicious cycle returns!

I thought I was doing the best thing - obviously not!

How , much would you need to meet you commitments? and how long would it take you to pay back the difference , sorry to pry into your private business ,I just might have a solution , but depends how quickly/ how much you need , still think it better to go back to your IP to argue your case after all with the better job etc coming up it would put you in a better position , seems harsh if you are only 1 month behind . I wish you well, hang on in there .[8D]

Hi Neverendingstory.

This does all sound a bit unusual. I cannot remember a case here ever where a trust deed was terminated when it was a single month behind and there was good communication with the trustee about what was happening.

well - just to give you a quick update. After sending over my wage slip my IP has agreed that this month' payment can be waived. I now need to up my payment for the next 12 months to cover this missed payment and if I ask for a reduction, extension or adjustment the IP will dump my TD. Fingers crossed I sail through the next two years without any hiccups! lol

I'm really glad to hear that Neverendingstory.

It did all sound a bit odd before.
