Hi bankiedonnie.

As you'll have noticed I've amended the title of your thread to remove the name of the individual you mention. I'm uncomfortable with having it there given that we don't know in what circumstances this individual is working or why there hasn't been a response.

The decision to terminate a trust deed would have to be taken at a high level.

None of the experts on this forum work for Apex. The firm is welcome to respond here though, but it's often tough for firms to do so given their data protection responsibilities.

My suggestion is to write to your trustee personally and set out your concerns. More often than not this is effective in getting things moving again.

whats the point of your forum if you cant name and shame, what do you mean circumstances this individual is working? is he too busy to reply is that it? surely me mentioning he hasn't bothered his backside to reply to me isn't worth your uncalled for removal of his name.get a grip.i have wrote to Thomas maclellan personally(ok with that?)and still no answer. wont be on here again as your bias towards apex is a joke.goodbye.

The point of the forum is to help people that ask questions here bankiedonnie. That's what I've tried to do for you a fair few times and I'd be very happy to continue to doing so.

The point of the forum isn't to name and shame individuals that happen to work at firms that individuals aren't happy with. The trustee is personally responsible for the work of his or her team so the buck stops there.

I don't know the individual you mentioned and I have no idea whether they might have been moved to a different type of work, whether they're off sick, whether they've left the firm, or whether they've been unable to respond because they're awaiting a decision from someone more senior. Therefore there's a lot of scope for highlighting that individual personally to be a little unfair.

That doesn't mean that I don't sympathise with your frustration or that I don't think you deserved a prompt response from them. I'd be incredibly frustrated and I certainly think that a prompt response or at least an acknowledgement should have been forthcoming.

I'm afraid using the forum does involve understanding that just once in a while we need to make an editorial decision about content in the interests of our view of fairness. Not very often though... it's been months since the last one I think.

I don't think TDA has a bias towards Apex.

She has offered advice to you but understandably you are very angry with the lack of communication from your Trustee. As TDA has suggested write to your Trustee directly and if no response, find out what their complaints procedure is and lodge a complaint.

I hope you get this resolved to your satisfaction.

We removed the name of the individual, not the firm.

The exact same decision would have been made if it had been any other firm.

Hi bankiedonnie.

Leanne's a Senior Manager at the firm so should be a good contact point for you to get things moving.

I have had no issues in dealing with Apex. Phoned yesterday, my account manager answered, gave me the response to my question. Job done.

I have never seen any bias towards any company on here and I have never been under the impression the forum existed for naming and shaming purposes, but for people to share experiences and get FREE advice from the experts who if you look on here on a regular basis you will see that they give up a lot of their day, evenings and weekends to provide advice.

Anger and frustration aside, your outburst towards TDA and this forum was bang out of order to put it bluntly, at the very least you should offer an apology
