Could there not be additional fees though if something crops up at a later date and they need to deal with it?

It's not realistic to think that a trustee would choose to keep a large enough number of cases open on the off chance that one of them might come into money.

Thats fine but you still shouldn't get penalised by having to pay more money months down the line. After final payment there should be a cut off point. 1 month maximum. Then anything after that is not included.

Very true. I assume we are only taking about windfalls here. If someone was to get promoted and double their salary, surely that shouldn't change things. Stop me if taking this too far lol

That would be different SkintAlly, income rather than a windfall. Income obligations are complete at this point.

Steve1984 - I don't think I disagree with you. One to raise with your MSP perhaps?

Oh how I wish we could post photos on here! I came home from work to find a massive, bright red envelope behind the door. Was hoping it was an early Valentine card but no, it was a letter from Creditfix advising of new banking/payment details. Perfectly pleasant letter, no complaints so far.

Mary - I cancelled mine the day of my last payment after it had come out. PJG then said I shouldn't have did this but my thinking is why not, I've met my obligation and didn't want any more money to come out. If anything else was due I could make a bank transfer payment which I had to do twice during my TD.

Funny enough, despite my last payment being made on Sept 2nd I also got the big red letter to fill out DD details. No Thanks [:D]

My letter had a guys direct email address in it. Does yours not? If it does you could try emailing him directly if getting no joy when you phone? If I had made the 36 payments I'd be cancelling it.

I would say it is essential you cancel after the 36 payments. Can you imagine how hard it would be to get the cash back especially if equity was in dispute. These are two separate issue so I will cancel then we can discuss any further payments.

Thanks steve1984 & sold down the river - it would be a nightmare to get any overpayment back I agree! It's easy enough to set-up a SO should this be required!

Poor guy from creditfix is taking a beating over on the other forum. But to give them their due they seem to be sorting out the issues raised.

Just a quick question for the people at the closing stage. Do creditfix do another final review and how many wage slips do I need?
