Hi all, correct me if I'm wrong - all PJG trust deeds ( certainly mine , so I assume all) were set up with the specification that no further valuation would be made.
If Creditfix are honouring the agreement then they would have no need to value the property again. Unless this was not specified on your agreement.
It is on mine .

Ann that's the million dollar question. Its very simple question but both firms involved seem incapable of answering this. Luckily we have people going through closure before us so its just a waiting game.

Hi all
Just to give an update on my husbands TD...transfared from PJG to Creditfix...Creditfix have been brilliant and have honoured in full the neg equity situation...contact them only the couple of months before closure though as they are inundated with work...acording to what ive been told PJGs paperwork has been a shambles and caused a lot of grief to both trustee and debtor...keep positive everyone but most importantly retain your original paperwork its crucial to a satisfactory outcome...

Hi little mo. Sounds promising! Did they do another valuation or just refer to original agreement then?

Thanks

steve

Sounds promising little mo.

Quick question when did your husbands make his last payment as mine was September just before the transfer and after putting pressure on them I'm only starting to go through to closure team?

Does sound promising! Can I ask RYB - did you cancel your SO after your last payment? My last payment is due this Friday and I received an email on Monday confirming that my case has been passed to the closure team. After reading your post, I'm not confident that my case will be looked at swiftly if you are still waiting nearly 4 months on!!

Can I ask experts a question? What happens if paid final payment then they take 4 months to do paperwork. What happens if win ten grand on a scratch card during that time? Surely after final payment they cant just drag their heels for months while folk from other companies are done in a week or 2?

It's the actual discharge that counts here steve1984.

There is no set timetable for discharge. As we have seen it takes different firms different amounts of time.

Are you suggesting that its best not to buy scratch cards until we have been discharged TDA? ๐Ÿ™‚

I always thought that once your agreed monthly obligations had been met, your trustee was only interested in equity, ppi and the like? It does seem a bit unfair that a company taking their time could benefit from doing so.

Yes tda that's what I'm saying. Surely there must be something in place where they have to complete this by a certain time. Otherwise whats to stop them just leaving you hanging for months in the hope you come into money? Or you build up months more equity?

Seems very unfair that its just your luck what company you choose (or got sold on to). The fact they are snowed under with paperwork is hardly our fault.

So is the answer to the question then yes they could steal your ten grand scratch card win 6 months after your last payment if they haven't bothered to complete the paperwork? ??

I got the big red letter in today.

I was pleasantly surprised. It is very nice and not threatening or anything at all. Perhaps they changed the letter after all the complaints but mine is perfectly fine just saying to change bank details as the existing account will close in feb. And thanks for my cooperation etc.

Hi steve1984 and SkintAlly.

I'm afraid there is no particular timeline or standard.

I agree that this could be seen as being unfair.

It's not for the benefit of the trustee if you come into money though, they don't have much of a vested interest in that. The primary beneficiary would be the creditors.
