Hi Sold down the river

No, the equity I have to pay is from PJG's paperwork and I have an email from Creditfix which confirms that position.

Don't want to go into it all again and bore you. It was a misunderstanding (though wasn't very happy at the time)

I have about 23 months to go.

Thanks Ann, well that's good news all we are trying to find out where we stand. Beginning to look like creditfix is just a shambles and its a free for all how you are treated. My guess is the first sign you are going to cause them bother they will want rid of you !

Been over on the IVA forum and the carnage is the same there. Turns out the email was not written by a primary school child but one of their directors, you really could not make this car wreck up !

How long do you have to go ?

It is a shambles . Just trying to stay positive and hope there are no real problems ahead.

Think its about 12 months, going to check over the paperwork and add up my payments. I'm sure all our questions will be answered soon by keeping in touch via this forum. One thing for sure is we will not get any answers from either creditfix or PJG, both as bad as each other in different ways.

12 months will go fast.

Definately keep in touch and keep everyone up to date. I know what you mean, you get on with things then you think 'what if' and you feel unsettled again.

It was the whole change over and no response from PJG. But time will tell and hopefully in 12 months you'll be posting that you are finished with no problems.

To be fair, except from the unwanted change over I have nothing to complain about yet. (Still disappointed and annoyed that happened.)

I want to be able to post here that I am finished too with no problems. But too far away to think about just now for me.

You may have a little more control with a standing order.

Having said that, you can cancel a direct debit and also have protection from the direct debit guarantee.

I'm not sure that the difference is huge.

Indeed, like TDA keeps rightly pointing out creditfix have not actually done anything yet. So who knows how this will play out, maybe all will be OK. One thing for sure is I no longer trust any firm involved in finances. I trusted PJG and look where that got me won't make the same mistake again.

Over on the IVA forum creditfix have joined the forum to answer any questions. It would be good if we got the same over here. Should be interesting to see how that pans out. at least they are trying which is a good sign.

Would be good if anyone is a memeber of the forum to put a request in on behalf of this forum. If not i might fire off a mail to him and ask him to join the forum.

It's not our place to put in such a request Sold down the river.

Any firm is free to respond on a thread here if they're named on it. Creditfix are welcome to if they choose to.

You're hardly encouraging them to engage here (with you and others) by using phrases such as "both as bad as each other in different ways", "creditfix is just a shambles", and "the email was not written by a primary school child but one of their directors, you really could not make this car wreck up".

Hi All,

Quick update, after another failed callback promise I finally spoke to a girl who has confirmed my case will be passed to the closure team. This is a step forward as before I seemed to be in limbo. I'm now waiting on contact from the closure team though I'm not sure how long this will take, once I have another update I'll let you all know.

Thanks

Hi Ryb. Sorry if you've already explained your circumstances in the past. ...... but just wondering if you had any equity scenario involved? I.e did you have any mention of equity either having any or having none in your original td agreement?

Thanks

steve

Original agreement with PJG at our meeting was no equity. I then notices almost half way in that they had ou down £1400 equity due at the end of the TD. I questioned this and received email confirmation from Mark that there would be no equity due. This has been forwarded to Creditfix.

On my call with one of the managers last month they mentioned they would still look to value the house as part of their process. I'm fine with that as long as they honour what I agreed with PJG. Basically I'm not sure what they will try and do so will wait until they contact me an see what they say.

I'll let you all know how I get on as I know that's the biggie everyone is waiting to find out about.

Thanks
