Hi.
It has all gone quiet on the creditfix scene.
Has anyone got any updates on the equity situations?
Or has anyone who was transferred to creditfix got any updates about anything or have you even heard from them since that original letter months ago?
No news is good news I suppose. ..... although would be nice to hear from anyone who is in this situation who has recently completed their td to tell us how it panned out.
Thanks
steve
No update here, I said I would give them until middle of month to contact me or I would phone them. Not expecting a call from them so will call them myself on Friday. I should be discharged by now and this causing stress I don't need.
Will keep you updated.
Ok thanks. I'll keep an eye out for update.

Hi Steve1984, I've just had dealings with them with regards to my redundancy in November and I've got to say they have been great. I had to complete another income and expenditure form and send in bank statements etc and they have agreed to lower my contribution to an affordable level. Really it all went very smoothly and the girl I dealt with was very kind and understanding. We have 12 months left to run on our TD and one of my major concerns was it being extended for another 12 months, I'd hate for that to happen but she said, although not to quote her on it, but she thought it would only be extended if there was deemed to be equity in the property.
She said at around 6 months before the end of the trust deed it goes to a different department and they ascertain if there is any equity in the property and if there is then it's likely to be extended for a further 12 months. In my case I'm paying an interest only mortgage at the moment so I'd be surprised if there is much of a change in 3 years .... it all depends on who values it I guess, but I'm hopeful for my situation that it won't be extended.
I have to say to date my dealings with them have all been good and professional.
Hi - any dealings I've had with them have been great and very professional too. My last payment is due next week and this has been confirmed by Creditfix. They have however, advised that they are 'obliged' to look at the equity position (albeit I have it in writing from PJG that there was no equity), which contradicts Chris Parry's statement on this Forum slightly. I've requested redemption figures for both my mortgage and secured loan and have forwarded these to Creditfix. It's just a waiting game for me now but will post something when I hear!
Hi thanks for the updates. Sounds good then apart from this old equity chestnut. Thats going to be the main thing we need cleared up.
Hopefully you'll get a positive response mary. Keep us informed!
steve
not heard a thing from them with possible redundancy looming I only £2000 left on equity to pay ,but as said on another post I would have to pay all redundancy money plus the £2000 which is obviously impossible if I have no income so worrying time as oil industry is in deep trouble ref job scene

Don't know what bit sounds good ! The whole debate before Xmas was regarding the equity issue. We were asking if creditfix were honouring PJG equity deal, we now know the answer to this NO.
So essentially we are paying our trust deed PLUS our mortgage payments minus interest over the 3 years.
So now that we are clear my original question stands are the documents that PJG made us sign regarding equity worth the paper they are wrote on !
Hi Sold down the river.
There is NOTHING on this thread that could logically lead you to the conclusions you've reached. It makes no sense.
You're obviously entitled to think what you want. Other readers I hope will see beyond this groundless speculation.
If it actually happens, I accept, there will be something very significant to discuss. As it stands, the things you mention have happened to nobody.
I hope you are right TDA, we will see shortly i think.
Yeah thats why I said sounds good apart from that! !
steve
Mary please do keep us informed as you are exactly where many if us will be soon. Please let us know if they are honouring PJG valuations and if not what is their justification.
Yes, no problem. I'll post something on here as soon as I hear anything.
Hi
I received an email from Creditfix last night stating that they would be changing Standing Order details to a new bank account. Might be worth checking your inboxes, though they did say this would be followed up with a letter.
I received the email. Was going to delete it as I dont open emails when it comes from a person I dont know (It just had a name - no mention of creditfix) - Had too many problems with viruses etc. in the past.
I still thought it was one of those after reading the first part of it as it talked about a London Bank (that I havent heard of).
Was a little 'threatening' in that it said if you don't you will break your contract and be open to creditors harrassing you (I am para-phrasing).
However I suppose they have to get our attention to make sure we know about it. So maybe a better way would have been to label if FROM CREDITFIX.
Anyway look out for a RED envelope.
