TDA,

thank you very much. From what that link says, I should be able to ask for the lenders to mark all defaults from 11 April 2007, meaning as of 11 April 2013, it should all be wiped clean.

I shall yet again write the lenders and attach the link above if you feel that would be ok. I shall ask for the date of default be back dated to 11 April 2007 as suggested. I shall mention carefully that this would be better for all in the Information Commissioner wasn't involved.

After 6 years from the signing of the TD, all defaults and the TD should come off my file which is what we were originally informed would happen. The failings are from the actual companies themselves.

I'll let you know how we get on TDA.

You can quote if you wish Disney70. What we've written was put together after speaking to the ICO.

To be sure, our article refers to formal default notices. Monthly reporting that your payments were in default is different and, I would think, probably fair enough until the point of your discharge.
