I clicked on someones profile yesterday, not sure why because I've never done it before. Anyway in the body of the message they had posted it was clear that they hadn't told their partner/spouse of the debt/level of debt that they had. However, their full name and location was in their profile.

It's ok to be anonymous here, just a word of warning, anything on here is public information including your full name and location in your profile, this can easily be removed to protect your anonymity.

It's visible to other members and only when they're signed in at the time that they click on the profile.

I do agree that, depending upon personal circumstances, some people will want to minimise the information they potentially make available to others.
